Lisa Rimsza, M.D. (HEMP ’15), named the 2023 Arizona Bioscience Researcher of the Year

Lisa Rimsza, M.D. (HEMP ’15), Division of Hematopathology and the Getz Family Research Professor of Mayo Clinic in Arizona, was named the 2023 Arizona Bioscience Researcher of the Year by the Arizona Bioindustry Association. AZBio has supported life science innovation and innovators in Arizona, recognizing people who are making significant advances in the field of research and inspiring the next generation of scientists and clinicians. Dr. Rimsza is a world leader in lymphoma biology, an expert in clinical hematopathology, and a lifelong educator and mentor. Her extensive research addresses the unmet needs of patients with cancer and has been shared in more than 200 peer-reviewed publications. Dr. Rimsza is a professor of laboratory medicine and pathology in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science.
