M. Caroline Burton, M.D., is chair, Division of Hospital Internal Medicine, Mayo Clinic in Rochester

M. Caroline Burton, M.D. (I ’91), is now chair of the Division of Hospital Internal Medicine at Mayo Clinic in Rochester. Dr. Burton has significant leadership experience, including roles as chair for research and faculty development for the Division of Hospital Internal Medicine and a member of the Institutional Review Board. She succeeds Kevin Whitford, M.D. (CTSA ’14).

Dr. Burton is a professor of medicine in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science.
