Madiha Iqbal, M.B.B.S., M.D. (HEMO ’20), Division of Hematology and Medical Oncology at Mayo Clinic in Florida, was selected to join the Kern Health Care Delivery Scholars Program in the Mayo Clinic Robert D. and Patricia E. Kern Center for the Science of Health Care Delivery. Scholars selected for this mentored, intensive, career-defining training experience are highly motivated trainees who want to devote a significant portion of their careers to health care delivery research while representing Mayo Clinic’s RICH TIES values. His research project is “Evaluating an Innovative Health Care Delivery Model to Improve Quality of Life and Patient Safety Outcomes in Patients With Severe Autoimmune Disease Undergoing Autologous Hematopoietic Cell Transplantation.” She is an assistant professor of medicine in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science.
