Manish Gandhi, M.D., named vice chair, College of American Pathologists Histocompatibility and Identity Testing Committee

Manish Gandhi, M.D. (LABM ’07), Division of Transfusion Medicine, Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, was named vice chair of the College of American Pathologists (CAP) Histocompatibility and Identity Testing Committee. He will work to define and monitor emerging technologies in histocompatibility and identity testing; contribute to the development, maintenance and enhancement of effective proficiency testing programs; and provide expertise in the field.

Dr. Gandhi also is the laboratory director of the Histocompatibility Laboratory at Mayo Clinic in Rochester and an associate professor of laboratory medicine and pathology in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science.
