Margaret (Maggie) Redfield, M.D. (I ’87, CV ’91), will be awarded, Mayo Clinic Rochester

Margaret (Maggie) Redfield, M.D. (I ’87, CV ’91), Division of Circulatory Failure at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, will be awarded the American College of Cardiology’s 2023 Distinguished Scientist Award (Translational Domain) at the group’s scientific sessions in March. This is a highly prestigious and competitive award. Awardees represent a diverse group of clinicians and scientists who are helping to transform cardiovascular care and improve heart health for patients worldwide. Dr. Redfield is the Walter and Leonore Annenberg Professor of Cardiology and Critical Care in Honor of Dr. Raymond Gibbons and a professor of medicine in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science.
