Martin Abel, M.D., named Anesthesiology chair at Mayo Clinic in Florida

Martin Abel, M.D. (CV ’89), was named chair of the Department of Anesthesiology at Mayo Clinic in Florida. He has been a consultant in Anesthesiology on the Rochester campus since 1962 and is a professor of anesthesiology. He has served in the Division of Cardiovascular/Thoracic Anesthesia in the Department of Anesthesiology on the Rochester campus from 1996 to 2008.
