Matthew Goetz, M.D., and James Ingle, M.D., awarded SPORE grant renewal
Principal investigators Matthew Goetz, M.D. (HEMO ’03), and James Ingle, M.D. (ONCL ’76) – both in the Division of Medical Oncology at Mayo Clinic in Rochester – had their Breast Cancer SPORE (Specialized Program of Research Excellence) Grant renewed – the second renewal for the SPORE, which was initially funded in 2005.
The goal of the SPORE grant is to make discoveries and translate them into the clinic for the benefit of women with or at risk of breast cancer.
Dr. Goetz is a professor of oncology and pharmacology, and Dr. Ingle is a professor of oncology in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science.
