Mauro Schenone, M.D. (OBG ’10), received an award, Mayo Clinic Rochester

Mauro Schenone, M.D. (OBG ’10), chair, Division of Maternal and Fetal Medicine at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, received a Mayo Clinic Office of Translation to Practice Innovation Accelerator Award for the project “Fetal Ex Utero Support System (FESS).” The Innovation Accelerator Award program supports projects that aim to develop new technologies with commercialization potential, such as medical devices, diagnostics, therapeutics, small-molecule drug discovery, healthcare information technology, or other human health innovations, including practice initiatives. Dr. Schenone is an associate professor of obstetrics and gynecology in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science.
