Mayra Guerrero, M.D., is associate program director – Recruitment and Academic Affairs, Mayo Clinic Cardiovascular Fellowship Program

Mayra Guerrero, M.D. (CV ’18), Divisions of Interventional Cardiology and Structural Heart Disease at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, is now associate program director – Recruitment and Academic Affairs of the Cardiovascular Fellowship Program.

The Cardiovascular Executive Committee created this new position to provide support for the overall program in recruitment and education of talented fellows. Enhancement of the fellows’ learning environment to optimize their learning experience and increase their exposure to innovation will be among the many responsibilities of this new role.

Dr. Guerrero is a professor of medicine in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science.
