Megan Wasson, D.O. (GYNM ’16), received a Collaborative Research Seed Grant Program, Mayo Clinic Arizona

Megan Wasson, D.O. (GYNM ’16), chair, Department of Medical and Surgical Gynecology at Mayo Clinic in Arizona, received a 2023 Collaborative Research Seed Grant Program in the Mayo Clinic and Arizona State University Alliance for Health Care for the project “Engineering Targeted Strategies to Diagnose and Treat Endometriosis.” With the goal of advancing research, improving patient care and reshaping medical education, the alliance’s seed grant program provides fertile ground for research on a small scale, with the potential to attract funding for larger studies that can significantly improve patient care. Dr. Wasson is an associate professor of obstetrics and gynecology in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science.
