Meghan Murphy, M.D.

Megan Murphy, M.D. (NSSE ’17, NS ’18), a resident in the Department of Neurologic Surgery at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, received a Charles Kuntz Scholar Award from the Joint Section on Disorders of the Spine and Peripheral Nerves, Congress of Neurological Surgeons.

Created in memory of neurosurgeon Charles Kuntz IV, the scholarships are awarded annually to the top 30 neurosurgical residents or fellows who author outstanding abstracts detailing a laboratory or clinical investigation in the area of spinal disorders.

Dr. Murphy also is an instructor in neurosurgery.
