Meghna Mansukhani, M.D. (FM ’10, SLEP ’11), received an award, Mayo Clinic Rochester

Meghna Mansukhani, M.D. (FM ’10, SLEP ’11), Department of Family Medicine at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, received the 2023 Innovation and Research Award from the Minnesota Academy of Family Physicians. Dr. Mansukhani is the regional chair of research and innovation for Mayo Clinic Health System’s Southwest Minnesota region and director of academic advancement and promotions for the Midwest Department of Family Medicine. Dr. Mansukhani is active in research, teaching and quality improvement initiatives around sleep medicine and care of patients with sleep disorders, especially in the primary care setting. Her research has focused on studying the cardiovascular consequences of sleep disorders, the effects of psychotropic medications and substances on sleep, and advances in the diagnosis and treatment of sleep disorders. She is a professor of family medicine in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science.
