Michael Barrett, Ph.D., receives Mayo Clinic Pancreatic Cancer SPORE Developmental Research Program Award

Michael Barrett, Ph.D. (HSR ’16), Division of Hematology/Oncology, Mayo Clinic in Arizona, received a 2018 Mayo Clinic Pancreatic Cancer Specialized Program of Research Excellence (SPORE) Developmental Research Program Award. The project he received the award for is “Prognostic Impact of GATA6 Amplification in Pancreatic Ductal Adenocarcinoma.”

The SPORE’s Developmental Research program supports innovative, scientifically sound research projects from which findings can be translated into clinically relevant applications that will impact the screening, diagnosis and management of pancreatic cancer.
