Michele Barnhill, M.D. (HEPT ’23), Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Mayo Clinic in Arizona, received a 2024 CCaTS-CBD Pilot Awards for Team Science from the Mayo Clinic Center for Clinical and Translational Science (CCaTS) and the Center for Biomedical Discovery (CBD) for the project “Studying T cells, Treg Cells and Functional Markers of Immune Tolerance in Liver Transplant Patients With Spontaneous Operational Tolerance.” The goal of the awards is to enhance team science and develop clinical-basic partnerships in projects that have potential to impact clinical practice at Mayo Clinic.
