Michelle McGowan, Ph.D. (QHS ’22), is co-director, Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science

Michelle McGowan, Ph.D. (QHS ’22), Department of Quantitative Health Sciences at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, is co-director of the Mayo Clinic Biomedical Ethics Research Program. Dr. McGowan is an empirical bioethicist whose research explores ethical and social implications of emerging health technologies and policies. Her current research explores ethical and logistical implications of expanding the use of digital technologies and decentralized approaches to enrolling underrepresented populations in clinical research. Dr. McGowan is a professor of biomedical ethics in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science.
