A paper by Michelle van Ryan, Ph.D. (HSR ’13), Health Sciences Research at Mayo Clinic, was listed as one of the Top 100 Cited Papers in Health Care Disparities: a Bibliometric Analysis published in the Journal of Racial and Ethnic Health Disparities http://link.springer.com/article/10.1007%2Fs40615-016-0288-y.

The 2003 paper, “Paved with Good Intentions: Do Public Health and Human Service Providers Contribute to Racial/Ethnic Disparities in Health?” https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC1447725/ is a seminal work in the areas of provider implicit bias and provider contributions to health disparities.
