Mohamad Alkhouli, M.D., is director for Virtual and Augmented Reality, Mayo Clinic

Mohamad Alkhouli, M.D. (CVHD ’16), Division of Interventional Cardiology at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, is the new director for Virtual and Augmented Reality at Mayo Clinic. He succeeds Suraj Kapa, M.D. (I ’09), Division of Heart Rhythm Services in this role.

Dr. Alkhouli is a professor of medicine in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science, and the chair for Research and Innovation for the Division of Interventional Cardiology.
