Mohamad Bydon, M.D. (NS ’16), receives funding for project, Mayo Clinic Rochester
Mohamad Bydon, M.D. (NS ’16), Department of Neurologic Surgery at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, received additional funding in the Mayo Clinic Office of Translation to Practice Innovation Accelerator Award program for the project “Developing an Automated Intraoperative Rod Bending Machine.” The Innovation Accelerator Award program supports projects that aim to develop new technologies with commercialization potential, such as medical devices, diagnostics, therapeutics, small-molecule drug discovery, healthcare information technology, or other human health innovations, including practice initiatives. Dr. Bydon is a professor of neurosurgery, health services research and orthopedics in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science and a Charles B. and Ann L. Johnson Professor of Neurosurgery.
