Muhamad Alhaj Moustafa, M.D. (HEMO ’21, CTSA ’21), Division of Hematology and Medical Oncology at Mayo Clinic in Florida, received a Robert A. Winn Diversity in Clinical Trials Development Award. This award, supported by the Bristol Myers Squibb Foundation, is a two-year program to support the career development of early-stage investigator physicians from diverse backgrounds and physicians who have demonstrated commitment to increasing diversity in clinical research to become independent clinical trial investigators who are engaged in advancing health equity through their research and mentoring. Dr. Alhaj Moustafa is an assistant professor of medicine in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science.
