N. Nora Bennani, M.D., is Calabresi Program Scholar in Clinical-Translational Research at Mayo Clinic
N. Nora Bennani, M.D. (HEMA ’16), Division of Hematology at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, was appointed as a Calabresi Program Scholar in Clinical-Translational Research at Mayo Clinic. Funded by the National Cancer Institute, the Calabresi Program is designed to train investigators to conduct hypothesis-driven cancer research that brings together multidisciplinary scientists and clinicians, and expedite the translation of research discoveries into a clinical setting. At Mayo Clinic this program has helped launch the careers of more than 40 cancer researchers. This year marks 20 years of continuous funding for the Calabresi Program.
Dr. Bennani is an assistant professor of medicine in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science.
