Nagarajan (Raj) Kannan, Ph.D., receives 2021 Career Enhancement Award from Mayo Clinic Ovarian Cancer Specialized Program of Research Excellence (SPORE)

Nagarajan (Raj) Kannan, Ph.D. (LABM & PATH ’16), Division of Experimental Pathology at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, received the 2021 Career Enhancement Award from the Mayo Clinic Ovarian Cancer Specialized Program of Research Excellence (SPORE) for his research “Defining Early Stages of HGSC Oncogenesis using Fallopian Tube Organoid Biobank.” The work builds on the successful establishment of the IRB-approved fallopian tube organoid biobanking. Dr. Kannan directs Mayo’s Stem Cell and Cancer Biology Laboratory.

He is an assistant professor of laboratory medicine and pathology in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science.
