Nahoko Kato, M.D., is finalist in Young Investigator’s Award competition of American Society of Echocardiography

Nahoko Kato, M.D., (CV ’20), cardiology research fellow at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, was selected as one of four finalists in the Arthur E. Weyman Young Investigator’s Award competition of the American Society of Echocardiography. She will present her research project, “Projected Transmitral Gradient: A Novel Tool for Assessment of Mitral Stenosis,” at the virtual ASE Scientific Sessions in August.

Dr. Kato is from Tokyo Bay Urayasu/Ichikawa Medical Center, Chiba, Japan.
