Narayan Gurukripa “Guru” Kowlgi, M.B.B.S. (CVEP ’21, AIHC ’23), Division of Heart Rhythm Services at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, received a Mayo Clinic Office of Translation to Practice Innovation Accelerator Award for the project “Artificial Intelligence to Detect Sites of Autonomic Cardiac Innervation to Guide Ablation of Arrhythmias.” The Innovation Accelerator Award program supports projects that aim to develop new technologies with commercialization potential, such as medical devices, diagnostics, therapeutics, small-molecule drug discovery, healthcare information technology, or other human health innovations, including practice initiatives. Dr. Kowlgi is an assistant professor of medicine in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science.
