Nathan Staff, M.D., Ph.D. received a 2016 Research Award

Nathan Staff, M.D., Ph.D. (I-1 ’05, N ’08, PND ’09, N-EMG ’10), Mayo Clinic Department of Neurology, received a 2016 Research Award for a clinical trial grant from Regenerative Medicine Minnesota, a state-supported initiative to advance regenerative medicine. His clinical trial will assess the safety and efficacy of mesenchymal stem cell spinal injections as a regenerative therapy for amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). Dr. Staff is an assistant professor of neurology.
