Omair Shariq, M.D., awarded best clinical research paper, American Association of Endocrine Surgeons annual meeting

Omair Shariq, M.D. (S ’17), Department of Surgery at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, was awarded best clinical research paper at the 41st annual meeting of the American Association of Endocrine Surgeons for his paper titled “Clinical Features, Genotype-Phenotype Correlations, and Treatment Outcomes in Children and Adolescents with Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia Type 1: An International Cohort Study” — his second time winning this award.

Dr. Shariq is finishing his time in the lab and obtaining a Ph.D. prior to returning to the clinical arena.
