Panithaya Chareonthaitawee, M.D., is new vice chair for education, Department of Cardiovascular Medicine, Mayo Clinic Rochester

Panithaya Chareonthaitawee, M.D. (I’ 95, CV ’98), Division of Ischemic Heart Disease & Critical Care in the Department of Cardiovascular Medicine at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, is the new vice chair for education for the Department of Cardiovascular Medicine. She succeeds Heidi Connolly, M.D. (I ’89, CV ’93), who held the position for the last eight years.

Dr. Chareonthaitawee is an associate professor of medicine in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science.
