Patrick Starlinger, M.D., Ph.D., receives Billroth Prize from Austrian Surgical Society

Patrick Starlinger, M.D., Ph.D. (SGI ’21), a trainee in the Department of Hepatobilliary and Pancreas Surgery at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, received the Billroth Prize, a national research award given by the Austrian Surgical Society. The award recognizes Dr. Starlinger’s work, “Predicting Postoperative Liver Dysfunction Based on Blood-Derived MicroRNA Signatures.”
