Petra Hirsova, Pharm.D., Ph.D., receives Pilot and Feasibility Program award from Mayo Clinic Center for Cell Signaling in Gastroenterology

Petra Hirsova, Pharm.D., Ph.D. (GI ’16), Gastroenterology Research at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, received a 2019-2020 Pilot and Feasibility Program award from the Mayo Clinic Center for Cell Signaling in Gastroenterology (C-Sig).

The program supports junior investigators and attracts established investigators from other fields to work in digestive disease research. Dr. Hirsova’s project is “ROCK1 Promotes Liver Injury and Inflammation in Nonalcoholic Steatohepatitis.”

Dr. Hirsova is an assistant professor of medicine in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science.
