Randal Thomas, M.D. (CV ’99), Department of Cardiovascular Medicine at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, received the Michael L. Pollock Established Investigator Award from the American Association of Cardiovascular Pulmonary Rehabilitation. The award recognizes significant advances in the field of cardiac rehabilitation through research and scholarly contributions, and national prominence through contributions in contemporary research or education.

Dr. Thomas also is a professor of medicine in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science.
