Randall Linton, M.D., receives Health Care Hero Award from American Red Cross

Randall Linton, M.D., regional vice president, Mayo Clinic Health System Northwest Wisconsin

Randall Linton, M.D. (PD ’16), received the Health Care Hero Award from the American Red Cross for integrating the principles of the Red Cross while demonstrating initiative, care and leadership. Dr. Linton is regional vice president of Mayo Clinic Health System, Northwest Wisconsin and an assistant professor of pediatrics.

Dr. Linton says he feels humbled and honored to receive the Health Care Hero Award. “I consider myself lucky to be able to serve in a leadership position of Mayo Clinic Health System. One of my goals is to never lose sight of our main focus – meeting the needs of the patient first.

“Our staff is as committed to this organization as I am. Their hard work and dedication play a significant role in defining what Mayo Clinic Health System means in Northwest Wisconsin.”

Dr. Linton plans to retire in May.
