Rebekkah Frunzac, M.D., Ph.D., is chief, Mayo Clinic Health System Austin

Rebekkah Frunzac, M.D., Ph.D. (S ’16), Division of Trauma Critical Care and General Surgery at Mayo Clinic Health System in Austin, Minnesota, is now chief wellness officer for Mayo Clinic Health System in Southeast Minnesota. Dr. Frunzac will lead efforts to enhance the quality of life in the workplace by promoting health, wellness, safety, equity, diversity, inclusion and job satisfaction for physicians and advanced-practice professionals across the region. Dr. Frunzac is an assistant professor of surgery in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science.
