Richard Weinshilboum, M.D., named interim medical director, Mayo Clinic’s Center for Individualized Medicine
Richard Weinshilboum, M.D. (PHAR ’72), was named interim medical director of Mayo Clinic’s Center for Individualized Medicine. He is the Mary Lou and John H. Dasburg professor of Cancer Genomics Research and a professor of medicine and pharmacology in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science. He chairs the Division of Clinical Pharmacology and is co-director of the Pharmacogenomics Program in Mayo Clinic’s Center for Individualized Medicine.
Dr. Weinshilboum succeeds A. Keith Stewart, M.B., Ch.B. (HEMO ’05), the Carlson and Nelson Endowed Director of Mayo Clinic’s Center for Individualized Medicine and the Vasek and Anna Maria Polak Professor of Cancer Research.
