Robert Jacobson, M.D.

Robert Jacobson, M.D. (PD ’89), has been named the T. Denny Sanford Professor of Pediatrics. Dr. Jacobson is a consultant in the Division of Community Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine, with joint appointments in the Division of Pediatric Infectious Diseases as well as the Division of Epidemiology within the Department of Quantitative Health Sciences at Mayo Clinic in Rochester. He is a co-director of the Population Health Science Scholars Program, a collaborative training program supported by Primary Care in Rochester and Kasson and the Division of Epidemiology. He succeeds Piero Rinaldo, M.D., Ph.D. (LABM ’98).
