Rochelle Torgerson, M.D., Ph.D., named assistant dean of Career Advising, Mayo Clinic School of Medicine.
Rochelle Torgerson, M.D., Ph.D. (MBIO ’00, MDPD ’00, I-1 ’01, DERM ’04, DERMI ’05), Department of Dermatology at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, was named assistant dean of Career Advising in Mayo Clinic School of Medicine.
She will be accountable to the senior associate dean for Student Affairs and will serve as a member of the Student Affairs Executive Committee. She will provide oversight for student advising, mentoring, career exploration, residency preparation, and other student development activities related to selective/elective choices and MATCH preparatory sessions. She will coordinate and integrate career advising programming for MD-PhD students in collaboration with leadership in the Medical Student Training Program.
Dr. Torgerson has a joint appointment in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is an assistant professor of dermatology in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science.
