Roxana Dronca, M.D. receives Schulze Award for cancer research
Roxana Dronca, M.D. (HEMO ’10), Division of Medical Oncology at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, received a Schulze Family Foundation Award in Cancer Research from the Mayo Clinic Cancer Center for a project entitled “CX3CR1 Effector T Cells Potentiate Anti-tumor Immune Responses After Chemotherapy in PD-1 Blockade Failure.”
The Schultze Award targets resources to late-phase projects that seek rapid implementation of the most promising therapies for patients.
Dr. Dronca also is an instructor in medicine.
