Saad Kenderian, M.B., Ch.B., receives Regenerative Medicine Minnesota 2017 Biobusiness Award
Saad Kenderian, M.B., Ch.B. (HEMO ’04), Division of Hematology at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, received a 2017 Biobusiness Award from Regenerative Medicine Minnesota.
Dr. Kenderian’s project is development of a chimeric antigen receptor T cell therapy platform. Chimeric antigen receptor T-cell therapy has emerged as a potent and potentially curative form of immunotherapy in hematologic malignancies.
Established in 2014 by the Minnesota legislature, Regenerative Medicine Minnesota is a publicly funded initiative to build on the state’s leadership position in the emerging regenerative medicine industry. The awards supply grants for projects to develop Minnesota businesses and technologies that deliver regenerative medicine products, devices and services.
Dr. Kenderian also is an assistant professor of immunology and medicine and oncology.
