Samuel Asirvatham, M.D. (CVEP ’00), Division of Heart Rhythm Services at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, received a Mayo Clinic Office of Translation to Practice Innovation Accelerator Award for the project “Mechanical Percutaneous Septal Myectomy Device.” Dr. Asirvatham is the James M. and Lee S. Vann Professor of Cardiovascular Diseases and a professor of medicine and pediatrics in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science.
