Sani Kizilbash, M.D., appointed as a Cancer Center K12 Calabresi Program in Clinical-Translational Research scholar
Sani Kizilbash, M.D. (HEMO ’14), Division of Medical Oncology, Department of Oncology, Mayo Clinic in Rochester, was appointed a Cancer Center K12 Calabresi Program in Clinical-Translational Research scholar.
The program is funded by the National Cancer Institute and trains investigators to conduct hypothesis-based cancer therapeutic research in a team setting where basic, population and clinical scientists work together to expedite the translation of basic research discoveries into clinically relevant interventions. The Paul Calabresi Program is embedded in the Mayo Clinic Cancer Center.
Dr. Kizilbash is an instructor in medicine and an assistant professor of oncology in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science.
