Santhi Swaroop Vege, M.D. (I ’97), receives an award, Mayo Clinic Rochester

Santhi Swaroop Vege, M.D. (I ’97), Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology, received the 2023 American Gastroenterological Association Institute Council Pancreatic Disorders Section Research Mentor Award. The award acknowledges American Gastroenterological Association’s members for achievements as outstanding mentors in their areas of research. Dr. Vege was honored for his contributions in pancreatitis research. He is a professor of medicine in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science.
