Sara Van Driest, M.D., Ph.D. (MDPH ’06, MPET ’06), has joined the National Institutes of Health’s All of Us Research Program as the program’s first director of pediatrics. The All of Us Research Program is inviting 1 million people across the U.S. to help build one of the most diverse health databases in history. Researchers will use the data to learn how biology, lifestyle and environment affect health. In the program’s Division for Cohort Development, Dr. Van Driest will support future enrollment and retention of pediatric and adolescent participants who reflect the diversity of the United States.
