Shizhen “Jane” Zhu, M.D., Ph.D. (MPET ’13), received a pilot award, Mayo Clinic Rochester

Shizhen “Jane” Zhu, M.D., Ph.D. (MPET ’13), Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, received a 2024 CCaTS-CBD Pilot Awards for Team Science from the Mayo Clinic Center for Clinical and Translational Science (CCaTS) and the Center for Biomedical Discovery (CBD) for the project “Role of Circular RNAs in the Neuroblastoma Pathogenesis and Prognosis.” The goal of the awards is to enhance team science and develop clinical-basic partnerships in projects that have potential to impact clinical practice at Mayo Clinic. Dr. Zhu is an associate professor of biochemistry and molecular biology in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science.
