Stephanie Polites, M.D., receives Eastern Association for the Surgery of Trauma (EAST) Research Scholarship

Stephanie Polites, M.D. (S ’17), Division of Pediatric Surgery at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, received the 2022 Eastern Association for the Surgery of Trauma (EAST) Research Scholarship for her proposal “Biomarkers of Injury and Digital Microfluidics for Rapid, Sensitive Triage of Pediatric Trauma Patients.” She will be acknowledged at the 35th EAST Annual Scientific Assembly in January 2022 in Austin, Texas.

Dr. Polites is an assistant professor of health services research and surgery in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science.
