Stephanie Starr, M.D., receives Mayo Clinic Diamond Quality Fellow Lifetime Achievement Award
Stephanie Starr, M.D. (PD ’00), Division of Community Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, received the Mayo Clinic Diamond Quality Fellow Lifetime Achievement Award. Diamond Quality Lifetime Award winners are recognized for their long-standing commitment to quality improvement.
Dr. Starr has made it her mission to educate others on quality improvement and high-value care. Dr. Starr has been the Quality Academy’s assistant medical director, Quality Academy liaison with Mayo Clinic Alix School of Medicine, Quality Academy Executive Committee member, member of the Quality Review Board and the Quality Review Board Executive Committee for the Mayo Clinic School of Continuous Professional Development. She is a Mayo Clinic Alix School of Medicine co-director of the Kern National Network for Caring and Character in Medicine.
She is an associate professor of pediatrics in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science.
