Stephen Murphy, Ph.D.

Stephen Murphy, Ph.D. (LGG ’99), has been named interim director of the Genome Analysis Core, succeeding Eric Wieben, Ph.D. (BMB ’83). The Genome Analysis Core provides access to state-of-the-art genomic services to Mayo Clinic investigators across the Research shield and facilitates research with collaborators worldwide. Dr. Murphy has a primary appointment in Laboratory Genetics and Genomics, a joint appointment in Laboratory Medicine and Pathology, and experience as director of the Advance Diagnostics Laboratory.
