Steven Lester, M.D., receives Richard Popp Excellence in Teaching Award from the American Society of Echocardiography

Steven Lester, M.D. (CV ’99), Division of Cardiovascular Diseases at Mayo Clinic in Arizona, received the Richard Popp Excellence in Teaching Award from the American Society of Echocardiography (ASE). The award recognizes a physician who epitomizes the ideal qualities of a teacher, mentor and role model.

Dr. Lester is an associate professor of medicine in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science.
