Susan Wilansky, M.D. (CV ’03), Department of Cardiovascular Diseases at Mayo Clinic in Arizona, was appointed associate dean, Mayo Clinic School of Graduate Medical Education in Arizona.
She has been a member of the Graduate Education Committee in Arizona since 2004 and served as vice chair since 2013. She was program director for the Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship in Arizona for 12 years and has been program chair for the Echocardiography Fellowship since 2017. She has served as chair of the Cardiology Quality Committee since 2016. She has twice received the Teaching Attending Physician of the Year award in cardiology and has received a Lifetime Achievement Award as program director. In 2016 she received the Mayo Clinic School of Graduate Medical Education Program Director Award.
Dr. Wilansky is a professor of medicine in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science.
