Thom Rooke, M.D., Department of Cardiovascular Medicine, Mayo Clinic in Rochester

Thom Rooke, M.D. (I ’86, CV ’89), Department of Cardiovascular Medicine at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, was selected to receive engineering support through the joint CV/Division of Engineering RFA focused on novel device development for his project “A ‘Smart’ Intermittent Compression Leg Pump for Detecting/Preventing DVT in High-Risk Patients.” Dr. Rooke is a professor of medicine in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science.
