Timothy Long, M.D., was appointed and received award, Mayo Clinic Rochester

Timothy Long, M.D. (ANES ’98), Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, was appointed to the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) Review Committee for Anesthesiology. He also received the 2023 ACGME Parker J. Palmer Courage to Teach Award. This award honors program directors who find innovative ways to teach residents and to provide quality health care while remaining connected to the initial impulse to care for others in this environment. Dr. Long is a professor of anesthesiology in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science.
