Tina Byun, M.D.

Tina Byun, M.D. (CIM ’11), has been appointed division chair of Community Internal Medicine at Mayo Clinic in Arizona. Dr. Byun has served as a consultant in CIM since 2014 and was appointed vice chair of the division in 2024. Dr. Byun is a member of the Arizona Joy and Well-being Council, serves as vice chair of the Credentials and Privileges Subcommittee, secretary of Officers and Councilors, and is a member of the Personnel Committee. Dr. Byun succeeds Helene Labonte, D.O. (I ’04, CMR ’05), who was chair for the last 10 years. Dr. Labonte’s tenure was defined by visionary leadership, unwavering dedication to patient care and a strong commitment to the values of Mayo Clinic.
