Torrence Wilson, M.D., and wife celebrate 50 years of marriage

Torrence Wilson, M.D. (U ’87), and his wife, Carol, recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.

The couple married in the Cadet Chapel at West Point, New York, on June 9, 1966. Army tours took them to three continents and 11 locations before they settled in Minnesota in 1987. They have two grown sons and three grandchildren.

Dr. Wilson retired from the Mayo Clinic staff in 2012. He served on the Mayo Clinic Alumni Association Board of Directors from 2005 to 2009.
